Grant your blessings so that my mind may turn towards the dharma
Grant your blessings so that dharma may progress along the path
Grant your blessings so that the path may clarify confusion
Grant your blessings so that confusion may dawn as wisdom.
How does one turn one's mind towards the Dharma? It is necessary to contemplate the purpose and benefits of the teachings.
If one wishes to practice the Dharma, one needs to study and understand Lord Buddha's teachings and become aware of one's own confusion and delusions, so that one can overcome them through practice. No matter how sophisticated a practice might seem to be, if it doesn't serve to dispel one's confusion and delusions, then it has nothing to do with the Dharma. If one truly takes to heart the meaning and appreciates the purpose of practicing the Dharma, then one will have turned one's mind towards the Dharma.
Lama Zangmo will go through the Four Dharmas of Gampopa in this weekly online course.
This course is suitable for anyone wishing to study the Dharma, both beginners and more advanced. It is essential to be able to attend all the classes.
