A Precious Garland by Gampopa succinctly outlines what we need to know at every stage of the path. The text gives precise instructions on what is needed to develop one's understanding, meditation and conduct on the spiritual path. 

The course is suitable for anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of the Buddhist path, although it is helpful to already have a basic understanding of Buddhism.  

Lama Zangmo will give a short explanation of some of the verses in the text starting with The Ten Things That Are Great Kindnesses to Yourself, and will give plenty of time for questions and meditation.

About Gampopa:

Gampopa, also known as Dakpo Rinpoche, is one of the most important figures in the Kagyu lineage. The foremost disciple of  Jetsun Milarepa, he truly consolidated the Kagyu tradition by integrating its special teachings with those of the other main schools of Buddhism namely the Kadampa teachings prevalent during his time. 

Gampopa was the founder of the monastic order of the Kagyu School and he founded the Dhaklha Gampo Monastery where throughout his life he continued his activities of teaching, meditation, and benefiting beings.
