Anyone is welcome to attend this event!
This weekend course will be an in-depth exploration of how to tame the mind. There are three fundamental forces that destroy our equilibrium and drive us into all kinds of trouble. They are fear/anger; desire/insecurity and ignorance/bewilderment. They each have their appropriate remedies.
Through meditation practises based on the teachings of Thrangu Rinpoche we will learn how to tame our minds and overcome the forces that result in harm. There will also be references to teachings in the book, “Taming the Tiger” by Akong Tulku Rinpoche, which Clive helped to edit.
Please bring an open mind.
Since January 2015 all our Dharma and meditation courses have been offered without a suggested course fee.
In the Buddhist tradition one practices generosity, or Dana, by making monetary offerings for the teachings. This generosity is not payment for goods or services rendered; it is an offering given freely from the heart in appreciation of the Dharma.
Please read Lama Zangmo's letter for further information.
