The Bodhisattvacharyavatara, sometimes translated as ?A Guide to the Bodhisattva?s Life?, is a famous Mahayana text in ten chapters written by Shantideva. The text is dedicated to the development of bodhicitta through the six perfections. Lama Zangmo will teach on this text with a weekly class on Thursdays.

An opportunity to receive instructions in the Guru Rinpoche practice which is done monthly in Samye Dzong London. This course will also provide a foundation for those whishing to attend the Guru Rinpoche Drubcho. The Guru Rinpoche Drubcho is a practice that dispels obstacles of all kinds and is a special opportunity to pray for peace in the world. It is said that participating brings a tremenduous amount of merit and benefit, so we hope everyone can be a part of this special event. Anyone can learn to meditate and the effects can be profound. A regular meditation practice can bring increased inner peace, poise and perspective. The course will cover the theory of calm abiding meditation and mindfulness, and the benefits of a regular practice; in addition we will look at everything you need to know to practise successfully, including posture, and an explanation of several techniques from which to choose.

A chance to get together with fellow practitioners for an afternoon of short meditation sessions. The emphasis will be on silent sitting, though there will be opportunity to ask questions related to the practice. Ideal for anyone who would like to sit more than they currently do.
