A Special Appeal

His Holiness 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Orgyen Trinley Dorje has been invited to visit London in June 2010.

We would like to give those with a strong connection to His Holiness the opportunity to sponsor the lineage apartment, where he will stay. We have recently purchased a beautiful building in Bermondsey, London, which is a Grade 2 listed building and has a special status in the UK because of its heritage. The Lineage apartment consisting of five rooms, kitchen and two bathrooms will be on the top floor of the building.

Sponsorship can be given either for individual items, for one or more rooms, or for the apartment as a whole. If you are interested in sponsoring His Holiness' apartment you can see a list of items by clicking here. Similar amounts will be needed for the remaining rooms.

If a complete room is sponsored, a Generosity Plaque will be hung in the room, either with the donor's name or the name of someone of their choice.

We are working very hard to complete the apartment by Summer 2010 and your help and support with this wonderful project will make it possible to reach our goal.
